Excellent quality my retired friend loves it!
Overall the badge is very nice. It is a little larger than my official badge was, but since it will be a display piece that is fine. I was disappointed with the enamel on the badge. I had ordered black for the enamel lettering, and the lettering came out fine. However the rays on the star points were blue. I assumed that they would match the lettering, apparently they don't. From a few feet away it doesn't really matter, but when you're up close it is a distraction. However other than the coloring issue, the badge is very nice and we'll make for a very nice display.

Overall, the badge is quite nice. It does have a couple of small issues that prevent me from giving it five stars. To begin with I had ordered the badge with black enamel lettering. When I've ordered badges from the major manufacturers the rays on the star points matched the color of the lettering. This one did not. The letters came black as requested, but the star points rays are blue. The size is also significantly larger than the ones from VHB, or S,&W. That means it will not fit in a standard wallet type carrier cut out. It does look nice, despite the discrepancies in the size, and the color of the enamel, and I will end up displaying it in my office.

I wasn't able to keep my old Deputy Sheriff badge from 40 years ago. Now I'm retired and needed one for my badge shadow box. Mainny Badges fit the bill at a reasonable cost with great quality.
