It’s an over all good badge. The lettering was accurate and done well. As a retirement badge it will be used in a case so it will be protected some. The pin attachment on the back seems a little weak but time will tell if this is an issue. The State Seal wording was correct and appears secured firmly. The only problem was there were small surface scratches over the lettering in some areas. It was like after cutting out the lettering on the badge face, an aggressive buffer was used to remove any excess or rough edges around the cut letters. After looking at it closely, I decided to use some Never Dull polish combined with a wool buffer bonnet on my Dremel tool. After about an hour or two I was able to buff out the scratches and get a nice shine on the badge face. After buffing it well I am satisfied with it and it looks nice. I hope it will last the rest of my lifetime. An update: The same day that I published this review I was contacted by the company. They had read this and offered to replace my badge. I was impressed by the concern they showed that the badge may have had a defect and was willing to replace it right away. I didn’t see it as a defect but just a small buffing issue. I turned down their offer of replacement just because it will do just fine as is. I am impressed with the badge and the company’s quick response to the customer and product. A+

Nicely done. Very professional. Just wish the locking mechanism were just a bit farther from the edge - doesn’t fit most 3” leather badge holders.
The quality of the badge was excellent. I ordered a badge holder combo.
Overall it’s ok. I asked in the notes of my order, if the outer band could be black with silver lettering. I got no response, and the badge was made as is. So I’m still wondering, is that an option? I would still like a more accurate representation of the badge I’m trying to replicate.
Very good quality for the money. Gold finish and detailing is 9/10. The lettering and fill were excellent and the seal was spot on. Delivery was sooner than expected for a custom order. Definitely recommend.

Quality and detail is excellent!! I didn’t realize it’s as big as it is. Doesn’t fit in a standard leather holder it’s too big. I collect badges I thought it definitely would have been smaller. As I said quality and detail perfect, not a standard size.
Its not exactly what I expected, I collect badges from what ive done in my career in law enforcement and what I like. But this badge is much much latger then any badge I have. The quality is very good but its to big to fit in a badge wallet unlike all the others.
Good quality metal. Holding up ok. Seen where the paint has smeared and blemishes are on the front face.

This beautiful “Retirement” badge will top off the collection of badges that I wore throughout my 29+ years career. The badge was completed as directed, and more than met my expectations.
The quality of this badge is great. The letters are sharp and clear and the finish is shiny. It appears to be a well manufactured piece and is exactly what I ordered. The leather badge holder is nice quality and fits the badge perfectly.
Great badge, looks amazing, pin is thick and firm locking. Wish there was a round belt clip to carry the bigger round badge but this one works for now.All around good for the design and appearance.
